I am Pastor Hope Siwale, I fellowship at Calvary Holy Tabernacle Church in Lusaka, married with 6 children. I am a former employee at Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia where I worked as a Program Manager. It was during my working hours that I found my fate. My life changed completely todate On 22nd June 2021, I was involved in a traumatic Road traffic accident where I lost my left arm. I stayed in the Hospital and interacted with the health workers and patients. My experience was that the hospital is a place of hopelessness. Health workers are emotionally and physically stressed and Patients are either recovering or dying etc. Very little or no phycosocial support is rendered to the affected people. In all this, I learnt to start praising the Lord like Paul in prison. I came out victorious, my primary-caregivers( my siblings, Children and friends rejoiced on what the Lord had done in my life. It is from this experience that HopebringsHope initiative was birthed. This initiative goes to minister in hospitals, prisons and the community where there is great need for emotional, spiritual and material support. My family, friends bring in contributions (materials or money and we buy assorted groceries) for distributions. We have seen the hand of God, peoples lives being transformed knowing that Jesus is the healer and you can live positively regardless of the situation or calamity you are found in. He is the God of the Valley and the God of the mountains. He will lift you up again. I am healed, I am lifted and I live with hope. I don't see myself as disabled but a person full of potential of contributing to my family and communities. Kindly join me on this journey .
