My Name Is Sarah Mulonga Brookman I am a Pastor. Am Married to Rev Francis Brookman. I reside in Kamakonde/Kitwe West, where we lead a Ministry Called Fellowship Disciples Fellowship Ministries. Kamakonde is a community that started with the rejected people in Society, Thieves, ex-convicts, witches and wizards. It was a very dangerous community because of that there was no schools, clinics or police post in the community due to that the children that were being born since the 1980's till 2000's could not access education. We moved to the community in 2015 at that time there was a bit of progress. There was only one (1) School with only two(2) classrooms accommodating 700 learners. At the same time there were many children that could not get admitted in school because the school could not accommodate more than the 700 enrolled learners. Due to Lack of health facilities, murders that were taking place many parents died leaving their children orphaned and Illiterate so most of them begun to indulge in promiscuous ways such as fornication , alcohol and drug abuse, early marriages and the like. So in 2015 June we decided to start preaching the gospel to bring transformation in the community, we then planted a Church and also started a school called Beautiful Feet Christian academy to help the underprivileged and Orphans (Romans 10:14-15).We have also a feeding project due to limited resources we Just do that 3 times in a year. We also have a Youth Movement called Youth for Christ (Y4C). To change the mindset of the youths and transform them to the serving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 12:1-2). We are not yet there , but we have seen tremendous change in the community. By the grace of God we have touched many lives in the community. THERE IS HOPE FOR KAMAKONDE COMMUNITY.
