My name is Mercy Sadera born and raised in Nyeri, Kenya. I am a born-again Christian since my teenage years and have served in children ministry ever since then.
My passion is for the youth who are going through a transition in life. I have observed that sometimes they find themselves entangled in the emerging trends in life, especially in social media and other habits and substances, and sometimes are made to make wrong choices without caring. They sometimes go without guidance and their parents are too busy for them to offer guidance or they are defeated in their role of bringing up young adults.
My goal is to work with like-minded, both young and mature people to help in the area of transition with guided follow-up. My plan is to help those already caught up in drug abuse and other social ills to rehabilitate and also be able to help others thus transforming my community. There will be a need to also help parents in their role so they understand how to help the young to transit and to become useful citizens of our land. So we shall also organize parent's seminars regularly as resources are available..
