Nice to meet you...

My name is Matthews Chiphale Banda, I am married with four children. I am 50 years of age. In my community there are a lot of youths who drop out from school due to poverty. Most of them lost their parents due to HIV/Aids and there was no one to take care of them. This have left a lot of youths to stay idle and this idleness have lead many youths into bad behaviors such as smoking, thefty and drunkenness. My passion to this community is to engage with these youths and provide them with vocational trainings. My vision is to see these young people being empowered and equipped with technical skills like: Tailoring and Designing, welding and fabrication, carpentry and brick laying. These skills will help them to become self dependent and stop stealing because they have something to do. Currently I am helping ten youths who are being trained in various vocational trainings in technical colleges. As a leader it hates to see young people get involved in drug abuse and thefty crimes and it is my prayer that the effort through God's help will minimize the crimes. The other sector is empowering women, those that are widows and vulnerable with tailoring skills, baking and enterprenueship trainings as a way of community transformation.
